From Customers: Name, email address, phone number, event details (type, date, zip, budget), and messages submitted with quote requests.

From Vendors: Business name, contact email and phone, bio, portfolio photos, service area, pricing, and billing information (processed by Stripe — we do not store card numbers).

Automatically: IP address, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps for security and analytics purposes.

2. How We Use Your Information

To connect Customers with relevant Vendors and deliver quote requests.
To verify the authenticity of inquiries via email or phone (OTP/magic link).
To calculate lead quality scores and provide Vendor analytics.
To process Vendor subscription payments through Stripe.
To detect and prevent spam, fraud, and abuse.
To improve the Platform and send service-related communications.

3. How We Share Your Information

With Vendors: Customer quote requests (name, email, phone, event details) are shared with the specific Vendor the Customer contacts.
Service providers: Stripe (payments), Twilio (OTP verification), AWS (file storage). These providers process data only as needed to deliver their services.
Legal compliance: We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of users.
We do not sell personal data to third parties.

4. Data Retention

Customer quote request data is retained for up to 2 years for lead quality analysis and dispute resolution. Vendor account data is retained for the duration of the subscription plus 90 days. You may request deletion by contacting us.

5. Your Rights

Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
Correction: Ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
Deletion: Request deletion of your personal data, subject to legal obligations.
Opt-out: Unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time.
